Creative Client Use of the Artificial Jasmine Hedge Screen Panel

One of our clients made a particularly innovative use of the artificial jasmine hedge screen. Recently, we shipped our Jasmine panels all the way to a US ski resort.

Like most mountain resorts, this one gets regular (and heavy) snow, so the staff had to be very cautious about the type of decor they use. In the last few months, the client had their eyes set on an area near the entrance to the resort that lacked personality. While it wasn’t an eye-sore, there wasn’t much to look at either.

The staff put their heads together and brainstormed creative solutions to refresh the space. Real green walls were out of the question, as they would die and need replacements often due to the harsh climate.

That left them with one other option – artificial green walls. So, after they decided they were all on board, the staff searched far and wide for a solution that piqued everyone’s interest. And after a while, they determined that the artificial Jasmine hedge panel was it.

They sought the help of builders and installers to create imitation planters by attaching the hedge panels to wooden boards that served as backing.

By dividing the individual panels with timber planks, the installation resembled a row of planters with tall hedges growing grom them.

This setup upped the uniqueness of the resort and ensured the existing fence remained undamaged since the panels were not directly attached to it. Now, the staff has the flexibility to move the planters around and set them up in other areas that may need a revamp.

A project like this is easy to do yourself, as well. You’d need to mould bespoke wooden boards as a backing and use wooden planks to give the impression of a planter before attaching the fauxliege. This way, you can also have a portable, non-invasive green wall that works for you, especially if you’re renting or can’t do any permanent modifcations to the walls.
