Ultra Realistic Artificial Plants

Premium Jasmine Artificial Hedge Extendable Trellis / Screen 2 Meter By 1 Meter UV Resistant (PVC)
Designer Plants Five Key Technologies
The extendable screens in this range are jasmine and laurel foliage mounted on a UV resistant PVC lattice that opens out to 2m x 1m, with RealTex leaf variation across the face. Free-standing event stands and 40cm x 60cm flower wall backdrop panels sit alongside them for temporary and movable screening.
Extendable Trellis Screens for Balconies and Awkward Runs
An extendable trellis arrives compressed and opens out like a concertina, so one screen stretches to suit the width it has to fill. That makes an expandable artificial hedge the answer wherever the area is not a neat rectangle: a balcony corner, a narrow side return, or a gap between a pergola post and a wall. The jasmine and laurel screens open to 2m x 1m on a UV resistant PVC lattice. The collection also carries flower wall backdrop panels and free-standing event stands for temporary screening.
Coverage and how far a screen opens
Each trellis covers roughly two square metres at full extension, so a 4 metre balcony rail screened to 1 metre takes two screens. Pulling a screen wider than its natural extension thins the foliage and lets the lattice show, so overlapping two beats stretching one. Leaving a screen partly compressed raises density instead, which suits a short run where privacy matters more than reach.
Fitting to a rail, fence or wall
The lattice takes cable ties at the crossing points, which suits a balustrade or a wire fence, and screws with washers into timber or a plug into masonry. Fix one end, extend to the width required, then fix the far end and the intermediate points so the lattice holds its opening. The installation guide covers the same surfaces used for panels and rolls.
Trellis, roll or free-standing stand
A trellis suits an irregular width and reads lighter than a solid panel, since the foliage sits on an open lattice rather than a dense mesh face. Ivy rolls at 3m x 1m are better for a long straight run. Where nothing can be fixed at all, the free-standing stands, a 200cm diameter circular frame and a 2m x 1m screen on wheels, give a movable backdrop for functions and photo walls.

How wide does an extendable trellis screen open?
The jasmine and laurel screens open out to 2m x 1m, covering about two square metres each. They can be used at any width up to that point, and the foliage sits denser the less the lattice is extended. A 4 metre balcony rail screened to 1 metre high takes two screens at full extension.
Can an extendable artificial hedge be fitted without drilling?
Yes. The open PVC lattice gives a cable tie something to pass through at every crossing point, so a screen fixes straight onto a balcony balustrade, a wire fence or a Colorbond profile with no holes made in anything. This is why extendable screens are the usual pick for apartments and leased premises where drilling is not permitted.
Does a fake plant screen look dense enough for privacy?
A fake plant screen on a lattice reads lighter than a solid hedge panel by design, since the foliage is carried on an open frame. Leaving the screen partly compressed rather than pulled to its full 2 metres packs the leaf tighter and gives noticeably more cover. Where full privacy is the goal, running an ivy roll behind the trellis fills the gaps completely while keeping the trellis texture on the face.
How does an extendable trellis compare with a hedge panel?
A trellis is adjustable, lightweight and removable, so it fits an odd width and comes off cleanly. Hedge panels and tiles are fixed 1m x 1m modules with a much denser face, made for permanent runs where the finish has to read as a solid clipped hedge. Trellis for balconies and rentals, panels for boundaries and feature walls.
How many trellis screens are needed for a balcony?
Measure the rail length and the height to be covered, then divide by two square metres per screen. A 3 metre balcony screened to 1.2 metres is 3.6 square metres, so two screens at full extension. Check the balustrade height rules for the building before screening above the rail, as many apartment schemes restrict it.
Can two extendable screens be joined for a wider run?
Yes. Overlap the last two or three lattice sections of one screen with the first sections of the next and cable-tie them together at the crossing points. Overlapping is better than butting the screens end to end, because a butt join leaves a vertical line in the foliage that is visible from several metres away.
What are the flower wall backdrop panels used for?
They are 40cm x 60cm floral panels that join edge to edge to build a backdrop of any size, priced from $34.95 per panel. They are used for events and photo walls rather than for boundary screening, and they mount to the circular 200cm diameter stands and the wheeled 2m x 1m screen in this range so the whole assembly stays movable.
Will extendable trellis screens fade or go brittle outdoors?
The lattice is UV resistant PVC and the foliage carries UVTex inhibitors bonded within the leaf on the outdoor-rated screens, so neither the frame nor the leaf relies on a surface coating that can weather away. Keep the ties reasonably tight, since a screen left loose on an exposed balcony will work against its fixings in wind long before the material itself shows any age.

Commercial Grade. Made for Lasting Impact.
Temporary screening comes up constantly on commercial sites, whether it is a launch that needs a backdrop for a week, a tenancy handover that has to look complete, or a service area that only needs covering while a space is trading.
Nothing left behind. A trellis held on with cable ties lifts off a balustrade or a fence with no patching afterwards, which is what leased premises and protected building fabric need where drilling is not on the table.
Movable backdrops. The 200cm diameter circular frames and the 2m x 1m wheeled screen reposition between functions, so one venue can dress a ceremony, a media wall and a dining boundary from the same stock.
Awkward geometry. Because one screen covers a range of widths, a site where no two openings match needs fewer separate line items than a fixed-size panel schedule would produce.
Screen availability is confirmed at the time of enquiry.
