Are artificial flowers suitable for outdoor use?
Only the stems and plants with UV Resistant in the title. Those carry UVTex, with UV inhibitors bonded within the material rather than sprayed on, which is what lets colour hold on a balcony or in a window box. Interior pieces such as the glass vase hydrangea and potted calla lily are made for indoor and sheltered positions.
How many artificial flower stems do I need for a vase?
A bud vase takes one stem and a standard cylinder vase takes three to five 30cm stems. For a fuller look in one step, a single 45cm rose bunch fills a vase on its own. Adding one filler stem, such as jasmine or flowering boxwood, between the blooms stops an arrangement reading as flat.
Are fake flowers, faux flowers and artificial flowers the same thing?

Are artificial flowers fire rated?
Not across this range, so check the individual product before specifying flowers for a commercial space. The FireTex range is tested to AS/NZS 1530.3 with a Spread of Flame Index of 0, and Group 1 certified options to AS 5637.1 are made to order on quote. Can artificial flowers be used for weddings and events?
Yes, and they can be reused from one event to the next because nothing wilts between bookings. Flower wall backdrop panels at 40cm x 60cm join into a larger wall, and the portable 2m x 1m stand on wheels moves between rooms. Hanging rose stems at 85cm suit arbours, chair backs and overhead styling.
How are artificial flowers cleaned?
Dust with a soft brush or a hairdryer on the cool setting every few weeks. UV resistant outdoor stems can be rinsed with a hose and left to dry. Avoid solvent-based cleaners, which can lift the surface finish on the petal.
