Ultra Realistic Artificial Plants

Elegant Red Rose Vertical Garden / Green Wall UV Resistant 100cm x 100cm
Designer Plants Five Key Technologies
Every rose in this range is UV resistant, with UVTex inhibitors bonded within the petal and leaf material on the outdoor-rated products rather than sprayed across the surface. Petal shading is varied bloom to bloom so a bunch of roses does not read as one rose repeated.
Choosing Artificial Roses by Form and Position
Roses are the one flower people look at closely, so form matters more here than it does in a mixed arrangement. Eleven pieces cover five formats: single flowering stems at 30cm, premium bunches at 45cm, hanging stems at 85cm, a 190cm garland, a 44cm topiary ball and rose vertical garden panels at 100cm x 100cm. Prices run from $9.95 for a stem to $149.95 for a full panel. Every piece is UV resistant, which is unusual for a flowering range and means these are not restricted to indoor positions.
Styling and sizing
Stems at 30cm are for building a display of your own and need a vessel to stand in. Bunches at 45cm arrive with the volume already built and drop straight into a jug or a floor vase. The 85cm hanging stems and the 190cm garland are the long formats, cut for a pergola beam or a stair rail, while the 44cm topiary ball is a formed sphere for a plinth or a chain.
Positioning and light
Because the range is UV resistant, roses can go where flowering displays usually cannot: a west-facing courtyard wall, an open balcony rail, a pergola over an outdoor table. Red holds its depth strongly in full sun, and white shows dust faster outdoors so rewards a rinse every few months. Indoors none of it matters and any colour goes anywhere.
Selection guidance
Work backwards from the surface being covered. A flat wall takes the 100cm x 100cm panels at one square metre each, a rail or beam takes the garland, and a counter takes a bunch with a vessel from planters. For roses mixed with other blooms, see artificial flowering plants.

Frequently Asked Questions
What sizes do the artificial rose stems and bunches come in?
Single flowering rose stems are 30cm, premium rose bunches are 45cm, hanging rose stems are 85cm and the flowering rose garland is 190cm long. The formed rose topiary ball is 44cm across, and the rose vertical garden panels are 100cm x 100cm.
Are fake roses and artificial roses the same thing?
Yes, the terms describe the same product and Designer Plants uses artificial throughout. What separates one fake rose from another is where the UV protection sits: every rose in this range is UV resistant, with the inhibitor bonded within the petal material rather than sprayed on top, which is what stops a red rose turning pink through one Australian summer on a north-facing wall.
Can artificial roses be left outside permanently?
Yes, this range is UV resistant throughout, which is why it suits pergolas, courtyard walls and uncovered balcony rails. The one practical note is drainage: hanging rose stems at 85cm shed water freely, but a rose bunch sitting in an open outdoor vessel will collect rain, so choose a vessel with a drainage hole or empty it after heavy weather.
How many rose wall panels are needed to cover a wall?
Each rose vertical garden panel presents a 100cm x 100cm face, so one panel covers one square metre. A 3 metre wide backdrop at 2 metres high needs six panels. Round up where the area does not divide evenly, since panels can be trimmed down at the edges but not stretched.
Do the artificial rose stems come with a vase?
No. The 30cm flowering stems and the 45cm bunches are supplied as stems only, so a vessel is needed. That is deliberate, since it lets the same rose sit in a glass cylinder on a restaurant table or a heavy floor pot in a lobby. Vessels are in planters.
How do artificial roses compare with the wider artificial flowering plants range?
This page is single-species depth: one flower in six formats and four colours, which is what a rose-specific brief needs. Artificial flowering plants is broader and mixes species, so it suits a display where the intent is a planted look rather than roses specifically. Projects often use a rose panel as the feature and mixed flowering plants around it.
What is the rose topiary ball used for?
The topiary ball is a formed sphere 44cm across, covered in roses on all sides so it reads correctly from below and from every angle. It hangs from a chain over an entry or a stairwell, or sits on a plinth or urn either side of a doorway. A matched pair reads as a set piece where a single ball can look stranded.
How are artificial roses cleaned?
Indoors, a soft brush or a cool hairdryer through the petals two or three times a year is enough. Outdoors, rinse the roses with a hose on a gentle setting to clear pollen and dust, then shake the stems out and let them drip dry. Avoid pressure washing, which can separate individual petals from the bloom head.

Commercial Grade. Made for Lasting Impact.
Rose formats are specified for wedding and function venues, retail window schemes, hotel lobbies and restaurant courtyards, where a floral look has to hold for a season rather than an evening.
Panels calculate cleanly. The rose vertical garden panels are supplied at a 100cm x 100cm face, so a wall area in square metres converts directly to a panel count.
Formats that stack. The same rose colour runs through stems, bunches, garlands and panels, so a backdrop wall, the table settings in front of it and the garland on the entry rail can all be matched from one order.
Reusable between events. Garlands and panels pack down and come back out for the next booking, which changes the maths for a venue running the same look weekly. Availability across a colour can be checked on 1800 617 341.
