Sansevieria is the plant people reach for when a corner needs filling and nobody is going to water it, and this range exists to make height the only decision left. Six snake plants cover 60cm, 85cm, 90cm, 100cm and a premium 150cm, two of them sold under the mother-in-law's tongue and yellow tongue names. Styling and sizing
The 60cm plants are bench height and work on a credenza, a reception desk or a wide windowsill. The 85cm and 90cm sizes are the awkward middle most ranges skip, and they fit beside a sofa arm, under a wall-mounted television or against a low bench. The 100cm and 150cm plants stand on the floor and fill a bare corner or flank a doorway as a matched pair.
Positioning and light
A living sansevieria gets put in dark corners because it tolerates them, then declines slowly for two years. The artificial version removes the question, so a windowless corridor, a basement lobby or a bathroom with no external wall is equally viable. Outdoors, the UV resistance means a covered patio or an entry portico works permanently rather than seasonally.
Selection guidance

What heights do the artificial snake plants come in?

There are two 60cm options, one sold as sansevieria and one under the mother-in-law's tongue name, and the 150cm premium plant is the tallest in the range at $299.95. That spread is unusual for a single species and is the reason to shop this page rather than a general potted range.
Are fake snake plants, artificial sansevieria and mother-in-law's tongue the same plant?
Yes, all of those names describe the same thing, including yellow tongue. A fake snake plant is judged almost entirely on the blade edge, since a real sansevieria has a fine pale margin running the full length of each leaf and a slight twist along the blade. Both are moulded into the plants here rather than printed on.
Can artificial snake plants be used outdoors?
Yes. Every sansevieria in this range is UV resistant, with UVTex inhibitors bonded within the blade material rather than applied to the surface, so the deep green holds through a full summer on a portico or beside a pool. Rinse the blades with a hose occasionally to clear salt spray in a coastal position.

Do the artificial snake plants come potted?
Yes, each is supplied in a pot ready to stand, and the companion 75cm yucca grass is also available in a premium black pot where the vessel needs to recede. If the supplied pot does not suit the interior, the plant can be lifted into something from planters.
Which snake plant height suits an empty corner?
The 150cm premium plant, or the 100cm if the ceiling is low or the corner is shallow. A corner needs the plant to reach roughly half to two thirds of the nearest doorway height before it stops looking undersized, which in a standard room puts the answer at 100cm and up. The 60cm sizes are bench plants and will look lost on the floor.
What are the blades made from and do they stay upright?
The blades are moulded with an internal spine that holds the upright line, which is what stops a tall snake plant splaying outward the way a soft-leaf plant does. RealTex surface variation gives each blade its own tone and edge, so a plant with fourteen leaves does not read as one leaf repeated fourteen times.
How much maintenance does an artificial snake plant need?
No watering, feeding or repotting. The blades are broad and flat, so they collect visible dust faster than a fine-leafed plant, and a wipe with a damp microfibre cloth from base to tip every couple of months is worth doing. For the 150cm plant, adding sand or gravel inside the outer pot lowers the centre of gravity in a high-traffic spot.
