Because the foliage panels share a common face size, a single wall can move from clipped hedge into mixed foliage without a change in the fixing method.

Yes. Fake green wall, fake plant wall, artificial green wall and vertical garden all describe the same panelled foliage system, and Designer Plants uses artificial throughout. The distinction that does matter is UV certification. A fake green wall without UVTex inhibitors bonded within the leaf will lose its green through one exposed Australian summer, whereas the certified outdoor panels in this range are built to hold colour in that position.

Where a large area needs covering quickly, the 3 metre by 1 metre ivy rolls run out faster than square panels and suit mesh, balustrade and temporary hoarding. The UV-certified panels in this range do. They carry UVTex inhibitors bonded within the leaf material rather than applied to the surface, which is what stops the colour washing out over a summer on a west-facing fence. A 5-year UV warranty is provided on all certified outdoor panels. Panels without an explicit UV rating are intended for interior positions.

Timber, plaster and Colorbond take a screw and washer through the panel backing, masonry and render need a 5mm by 25mm nylon plug, and wire, mesh or any surface with holes takes 25cm UV cable ties. The install parts range carries each of those in pack sizes from 20 pieces up to 100.

Panels are eligible for the Designer Plants artificial greenery recycling programme, which takes back end-of-life panels rather than sending them to landfill.
