Designer Plants are incredibly proud to announce our partnership with Guide Dogs Victoria.
We are in the business of creating beautiful spaces with our ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing artificial green walls. While we have seen our installations create joy and happiness within residential and commercial spaces, we also acknowledge that many Victorians living with low vision or blindness may not have the capability to appreciate this luxury that we often take for granted.
Since 1957, Guide Dogs Victoria have expanded their services far beyond just the dogs themselves to include a wide range of community initiatives, training and education programs. They work to ensure people with low vision or blindness are active and involved members of the community. They do this by teaching practical skills to help children and adults reach their personal potential - regardless of when or how they became affected by low vision or blindness. These skills are developed under their ‘Orientation & Mobility’ training programs, with the support of Occupational Therapists.
