Frequently Asked Questions
What surfaces is this masonry drill bit compatible with?
Brick, concrete, rendered masonry, and blockwork. Not suitable for timber, plasterboard, or drywall — use appropriate fixings for those surfaces.
What nylon plug is compatible with the 5mm masonry drill bit?
The 5mm x 25mm nylon plug (available in 20-piece and 100-piece packs in the Designer Plants accessories range) is the compatible plug specification.
Is a hammer drill required to use this masonry bit?
For brick and concrete, a rotary hammer drill or standard power drill with hammer function is strongly recommended. Hand drilling into masonry is not practical for most installation applications.
