Creating a Magical Event with Artificial Hedges
A major Australian shopping centre was urgently in need of an easy to set up, portable and reusable solution to create an Alice in Wonderland themed children's maze. Designer Plants Artificial Hedges were used to provide an instant solution.

VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds)

Artificial Hedges made by Designer Plants last many years. UVTex formulas are added to the plastic material to ensure longevity for several years. Lifespan will vary, however outdoors they should last for 5+ years, and indoors 15+ without cracking.
Our artificial hedges are easy to put together by one person, and simply require people to insert poles into plastic brackets (firmly push the poles in), and then proceed to push each face of the artificial hedge together. Once you have done that, little clips exist along the artificial hedge mats, and you clip those onto the frame.
Some people prefer to install artificial hedge mats, rather than free standing hedges. You simply hang or screw them to your wall surface using hooks or screws that are designed for the surface you are attaching to. Once you have done that, clip the next hedge panel to the first panel installed and repeat until your wall is covered. If required, cut excess hedge wall panel material off.
Yes, our artificial hedge mats can be cut with ordinary cutters or scissors. If you wish to cut the internal metal poles of a freestanding hedge, you may need a small metal saw.
In order to extend the life of your artificial hedge we suggest using artificial plant cleaner and then applying a UV protection spray which prevents dust build-up as well.
If you buy a high-quality UV-proof hedge they can be placed outdoors. Designer Plants use UVTex to ensure they last a very long time outdoors. Poor quality artificial hedges often bought on marketplaces or bulk shops may not be suited to outdoor usage and will often fade and crack within months.
