End-of-Line and Final-Stock Artificial Plants
Every range eventually gets superseded by a newer mould, a revised leaf or a different pot, and the pieces gathered here are the remainder of those earlier runs. They are the same specimens that sat in the main range: potted trees, palms and bamboo, indoor foliage, flowering plants, succulent bowls, stems, garlands and a few accessories. What separates them is availability rather than quality, since once a particular finish has run out it is not produced again in that form. Treat this as a single-piece range and choose by the specimen in front of you rather than by expecting a matched set.
Forms and sizes in the range
Floor-standing pieces run from a 90cm cordyline and a 95cm peace lily up through a 110cm calathea, a 120cm areca palm, a 140cm philodendron and a 150cm eucalyptus, with a 180cm real touch bamboo trunk at the top. Tabletop work sits between 19cm and 60cm, taking in succulent bowls, potted zanzibar, orchids and small herb plants. Stems, ivy garlands and hanging pieces fill gaps in an existing arrangement.
Pots, bases and setting up
Most floor-standing specimens arrive potted in a nursery-style base, intended to drop into a decorative planter rather than stand on its own. The bamboo and eucalyptus trunks are natural timber with the foliage fixed into them, so they carry weight low down and want a planter with some mass. Tabletop bowls and pots are finished pieces and need nothing added.

Single specimens work in positions that only ever needed one plant: a hallway corner, a desk, a windowsill, a consulting room. Because matching quantities are not held, styling several rooms is better done from the main plants and trees range.

What does end-of-line mean for these artificial plants?
It means the piece was produced in an earlier run and the mould, leaf or pot finish has since been revised, so what remains is the last of that particular version. The construction is unchanged from when it sat in the main range. Once a given finish is exhausted it is not reproduced in that exact form.
Are fake plants and artificial plants the same thing?
Yes, and the words are used interchangeably by shoppers. Designer Plants uses artificial throughout. In an end-of-line range the terminology matters less than the individual specimen, since each piece here is judged on its own rather than as part of a matched set, and details such as the real touch leaves on the bamboo trunks are easier to assess piece by piece.

Can several matching artificial plants be ordered from this range?

The main plants and trees range carries current forms with ongoing availability, which is what a repeated or staged scheme needs. This range holds superseded forms in single or small quantities. The build specification is the same in both; the difference is whether the piece can be reordered later.
Are any of these artificial plants suitable for outdoors?
Only the pieces whose titles state UV Resistant, such as the 75cm yucca grass, the 150cm topiary spiral and the 20cm potted rosemary. Those carry UVTex inhibitors bonded within the leaf material. Indoor specimens such as the peace lily and the orchids will lose colour in direct sun and should stay inside.
Do these artificial plants come in a decorative pot?
Most floor-standing specimens arrive in a plain nursery-style base designed to drop into a decorative planter, while tabletop pieces such as the 20.5cm succulent bowl with marble pot and the 19cm round bowl are finished as supplied. The bamboo and eucalyptus trunks are heavier through the base and want a planter with some weight to it.
How are these artificial plants cleaned and cared for?
Dust with a soft cloth or brush, and use the Eco-Home Safe cleaner where a piece has picked up kitchen film or handling marks. The Home Safe UV protection spray in this range can be applied to indoor pieces moved into brighter positions. End-of-line stock suits fitouts that need a plant in a specific position rather than a repeated look across a floor, which covers most single-tenancy offices, consulting suites and short-term activations.
Single specimens, not matched sets. Quantities here are whatever remains of a run, so a scheme that depends on eight identical trees should be drawn from the current range instead.
