Designer Plants Five Key Technologies
Pots, Planters & Accessories – The Finishing Detail
The planter is what turns a specimen into a piece of furniture. A tall matt cylinder reads architectural. A wide low bowl reads soft and domestic. Imitation stone reads permanent. The plant does the work, but the pot decides how the whole thing sits in the room.
The range covers indoor pots, modern designer planters, office and commercial planters, luxury and imitation stone finishes, bowls, bottomless planters for potting existing specimens, and hanging pots. Alongside them sits everything needed to install and maintain greenery properly: fixings, screws, plugs, cable ties, hooks, drill bits, sample panels, and the Eco-Home Safe cleaner and UV protection spray.
Bottomless planters are worth knowing about. They drop over an existing potted specimen so the finish can be changed without repotting, which is how most commercial refreshes are handled.

Frequently Asked Questions
What size planter suits my specimen?
As a guide, the planter opening should be close to a third of the overall specimen height for floor trees, and roughly the width of the foliage spread for smaller potted plants. Product dimensions are listed on every planter page in centimetres.
What is a bottomless planter?
A planter with an open base that drops over a specimen already in a nursery or grow pot. It changes the look without repotting, and makes swapping finishes straightforward, which is why they are common in commercial refreshes.
Can planters be used outdoors?
Most of the range is suitable for covered outdoor use. In fully exposed positions, weighting the base with sand or gravel is worth doing in wind, and the product page states outdoor suitability.
Which fixings do I need for my wall?
Timber and plaster take screws with washers and plugs. Masonry, brick and render need nylon plugs and a masonry drill bit. Mesh and wire take UV cable ties. The installation guide covers each surface with video.
How should artificial greenery be cleaned?
Dust regularly and wipe with the Eco-Home Safe artificial plant cleaner, which is non-toxic and safe for use around children and animals. Avoid household solvents, which strip surface finish and can damage leaf material.
What does the UV protection spray do?
It adds a protective layer to existing greenery being moved into brighter positions, slowing fade. It is a maintenance aid rather than a substitute for a UV-certified specimen, which carries inhibitors within the leaf itself.
Can I order a sample before a large project?
Yes. Sample panels and pieces are available so finish, colour and density can be assessed against site materials before a full order is placed.
